About the Cake

Becky did a fantastic job! We wanted something nontraditional and sculpted and she was just the person to do it. My now husband had an idea and sketched it for her and she did a perfect job bringing it to life. Of course her cakes and cupcakes taste amazing too! There are so many flavors. When my husband mentioned that he loves funfetti cake Becky offered to melt sprinkles in ours in a similar fashion. Overall the cake was a huge hit!

The wedding cake made by Becky the owner of About the Cake was awesome. She was great (and fun!) to work with. She has tons of experience and is an excellent baker. My cake was perfect. It had a beach design to it. She even made edible seashells. The cake was so tasty...everyone really liked the it.

Becky Rink of About the Cake, Inc. is a phenominal artist and baker. If you don't believe me, you must check her website out to understand what I'm talking about. While you will be paying more than you would at Wal-Mart or your local grocery store (why she received a 4 out of 5 on Value for Budget), you are also getting much more than you would at one of those places. Becky pays extreme attention to detail so your cake will look beautiful (mine was modeled after my dress), but her cakes also taste AMAZING. Again, if you don't believe me, you have to book her for a cake-tasting to understand. Not only did she do my wedding cake, but also my shower cake and additional cakes for my family's traditional day after party. I wouldn't have picked anyone else in the Cleveland area. She is simply the best.
