At Last Event Planning

We used At Last Event Planning for full wedding planning services and worked with Amy Hissa for our Cleveland wedding. The decision to work with Amy and At Last was probably the single best decision we made and our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without her/their services. I read many online reviews of wedding planners in the Cleveland area and interviewed a few before choosing At Last. I live in New York and my parents live in Cleveland so I was looking for a planner who would be able to organize and set up appointments for my Cleveland wedding planning visits and generally minimize my stress with respect to planning a wedding from out of town. We planned our wedding in about 7 months and with Amy's help, pulled it off with 3 trips to Cleveland (and one was really for my bridal shower). I initially chose Amy because she seemed to be professional, friendly, well connected and versed in the wedding planning world, extremely down to earth, and had experience planning all sorts of weddings (budget to high-end, traditional to off the beaten path, etc.). And she proved to be all of these things and more throughout our wedding process. She was always responsive, courteous and extremely friendly. She was able to relate to my husband and me as well as to my parents (who are a bit more traditional than us) and propose ideas and suggestions that made all of us happy. Amy was really able to roll with the punches and be as hands on or off as we needed and wanted for various tasks. She was so organized and detail oriented and never failed to provide us with lists, charts, etc. to help us out. She was very patient and respectful in dealing with my parents and me and our sometimes unusual and relentless requests. She also provided many vendor suggestions with different price ranges who were all great -- I ended up interviewing several photographers, florists, cake companies, etc. and am thrilled with who I selected but honestly, every vendor who she recommended was extremely talented, nice and would have been great to work with. She was truly able to coordinate and help execute my wedding vision. And she was invaluable with respect to the day-of coordination -- I really don't know how we would have logistically handled everything the day of our wedding without her. The only way we were all able to stay (relatively) calm and collected was because we knew we were in such good hands with Amy. She even left cake for my husband and me in our honeymoon suite since she knew we hardly had a chance to eat it at the wedding! My whole family still raves about Amy we're so grateful we found her! I would recommend At Last Event Planning without hesitation! Thanks so much, Amy!

We worked with Trisha and she was fantastic! She did so much running around and making phone calls on top of helping us come up with ideas for the look and feel of the entire day. Not to mention she put up with my indecisiveness! I don't know what we would have done without her!

I love Trisha!!! She was so wonderful helping me plan my wedding. She helped keep me sane during the whole process. I was so calm the day of my wedding. I didn't have to worry about anything at all. She can solve any problem or emergency you can think of and even the ones you would never imagine. She is so prepared. I would definitely recommend At Last Event Planning, especially Trisha. Amy of At Last Event Planning was absolutely fantastic! From our first meeting, we felt we were in good hands. Amy was especially good at executing our vision in the best way possible. Not only did she get us what we wanted, but she did so while saving us money. I think we ended up saving almost as much money as we paid for our wedding planning! We were also very impressed with her professionalism and prompt responses to the almost daily emails. On the day of our wedding, Amy and her assistant Katie made sure everything was executed without a hitch, and when things went a little differently than expected, Amy took care of them without us having to worry. After our wedding, my parents said "Oh yea, such and such happened - but Amy took care of it right away." We were grateful to be able to enjoy our wedding, and allow our friends and family to enjoy it as well without worrying about all the details. I would definitely recommend At Last Event Planning for your wedding planning. You will be a much less stressed bride! Trust me - it's worth it!!

At Last was extremely helpful during our wedding weekend!! Everything we didn't think of, they thought of- and everything we thought of, was already taken care of. It was such a relief to have someone to be able to rely on for those last-minute details. Our planner was very professional, thoughtful and efficient- we're so glad we used them!!

I had my wedding at my parents house, and I knew I didn't want my mother or I to deal with the problems that arose that night, for I just wanted to be able to enjoy the day. Hence, I hired At Last Event Planning, specifically Trisha, as a day coordinator-- to oversee everything that happened the day of the wedding, and what a great choice it was! Trisha was amazing-- and I truly couldn't have pulled off the day without her there. Not only did she do the "normal" duties you would think-- made sure I got down the aisle okay, escorted people here or there...-- she went above and beyond. At one point she was helping clean off dirty salad plates because we were short staffed! I forgot my veil and didn't realize until right before I was supposed to walk down the aisle-- and she ran home for me to get it! My sister's bridesmaid dress broke, and Trisha even sewed it on for her. She was such a lifesaver, and worth every penny. I am so grateful I found At Last, and even more thankful I got to meet and work with Trisha. I would recommend her and/or the company to anyone who is worried about the little problems that might come up, because they do-- and it is a lot easier and less stressful with a little help. Trisha was reliable, trustworthy and very creative, and she makes an awesome wedding coordinator!

Amy was very flexible and always available via email. She led us to make great vendors and helped find things and ways to make our vision possible. The true testament to how invaluable she was came into fruition on the day of for us. We were able to enjoy the whole day and not be bothered with deliveries, timelines or keeping anyone on task because Amy took care of all that for us. We had two ceremonies and an Indian wedding that ran over but she was able to smooth out the details and keep the show running! We had the best wedding and the best day of our lives. I am so happy that as a bride I was able to enjoy my wedding worry free.

Amy was just awesome! She took care of everything and the stress off of us. She's fun, friendly, detail oriented, & dedicated to you. Our guests were commenting on how great she was. My aunt has worked with through other engagments and says she does a wonderful & professional job.

My one word for Amy is "unflappable." In the final days leading up to the wedding, there seemed to be no detail too small or task too big that she was not willing to manage or tackle. She provided that much-needed sense of control and organization that every bride should be so fortunate to experience -- which allowed me to utterly and completely enjoy our day!Thanks again, Amy!

From the live butterflies she personally cared for until their release, to the damask butterflies that were infused into every corner, to the logo she had designed for us and had printed on our stationery, and the cedar tree favors she assembled at the last minute, Amy gave us the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy our engagement and our wedding day without having to worry; knowing that our every wish would be fulfilled. Not only was Amy very professional and knowledgeable about planning weddings, but she also was very creative. Her suggestion for waving the wands when our daughter and new husband left the church was so clever. Our guests also appreciated the ease of finding their seats using Amy's framed seating chart.She has my highest recommendation.

Amy was worth every penny! She helped me plan and prepare and then made sure everything went smoothly. I was able to relax and enjoy the day rather than worry about the details. My only regret was not hiring Amy to help me with the full planning, instead of just the day of coordination with ad hoc services. Outsourcing to a wedding planner is a must for a stress-free wedding, I'm convinced!

This is hands down the best money we spent on our wedding. Amy and Amanda both made us feel so comfortable in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and Amanda executed everything perfectly on the day of. Things were totally crazy - rain, mud, heat, bugs, slippery floors, bad roads - and Amanda handled it all in stride. She remembered every little detail and was right there every moment when I needed her. As we were walking out after the reception (to the waiting car that SHE drove down the windy road to our limo!) I remembered "Oh shoot, my ceremony dress is still hanging in the bathroom!" Nope - she had remembered it. She was so friendly to everyone, but at the same time in control. The best part was how quickly and efficiently she made the call when it started to rain and got everything moved - no hesitation and no waffling. It was amazing. I don't know what we would have done without her. She took the pressure off of us on the weekend of the wedding so we could all just relax and enjoy without having to run around, chase other vendors, write checks, figure out who would take what home....we could just focus on the fun. I would highly recommend using this vendor to plan your wedding - you will NOT regret it!

Amy was very helpful making sure I didn't forget any details. She also made it a lot easier to set up our guest lists and tables, something I thought was going to be a headache. She has a lot of tools to help make the day go according to plan!

Amy was great as our day-of-coordinator. She helped everything run smoothly at the ceremony, cocktail reception, and our brunch the next morning. She was on-top of everything, and helped us reschedule quickly when our cocktail hour plans changed. Her assistants were also wonderful.

Amy Hissa, owner of At Last Events, was exceptional. She bridged the gap between generations...my daughter, Erin, and I both loved her, the vendors she was affiliated with exceeded our expectations. The bride was out of state and Amy made things flow smoothly and problem free. It was truly a stress free event for us.
