Bee for the Day

It was wonderful having Bee For The Day, they took care of things that I would of never thought of until the moment it needed done. I did not have a wedding planner with the two weddings we had before and I would highly recommend them to everyone I know. We had Heather for the day and she was wonderful, she kept her cool when I'm sure she wanted to scream and helped everything run smoothly, I can't thank her enough. We knew we wanted someone to help coordinate the "day of" details for our wedding, but Brooke did so much more than coordination. She helped keep us calm and collected throughout the entire process. From giving fantastic (and honest) recommendations for vendors to outlining (minute-by-minute) the flow of our wedding rehearsal and wedding day, Brooke did it all and everything in between. All of our questions were answered in a timely manner and often Brooke went above and beyond. Not only did she answer questions, but she gave recommendations and guidance about things we hadn’t even considered. There were several hiccups the days prior to the wedding, but we didn’t have to stress about them because Brooke handled everything in a professional manner. Brooke was priceless on our special weekend. She is a true professional. We debated hiring a wedding planner, but after have gone with Brooke, we were thankful that we did. She was amazing! She thought of all the things that no one would think of to make our day truly special. The whole weekend she was number one on my speed dial, she was my panic stopper, an answer to my every question and she had ALL the bases covered. My wife and I loved having her work with us, and we would gladly recommend her to anyone!

As someone who wasn’t sure I needed a wedding planner, let me tell you how wrong I was. The wedding planner isn’t just about coordination, in fact it was just as much of the little things Brooke did that were equally as important as the overall coordination. Without her I have no doubt that the occasion wouldn’t be nearly the same. From letting groomsmen know how to treat the ladies, to orchestrating the bride and grooms first time seeing each other(which was prior to ceremony in our case), she kept this moment secluded and special, and coordinated with the photographer to capture this moment. Not a single person called or asked me any questions the entire wedding day/evening they all went to Brooke … from coordinating Bus arrivals at reception, when to serve dinner, to holding onto our speeches, sneaking wedding gift envelopes into our trunks. My daughter’s wedding was truly a celebration of all our dreams for our daughter. I applaud Brooke for helping the celebration be magical and allowed our focus to be in truly feeling the love in the air, and not stress over if the bus would show up, or if the band was setting up on time, or if a person needed to be added to a table or ensuring handicap access to some guests. None of the details fell on me the wedding day and I never knew how important that aspect is to be able to truly appreciate the meaning of the occasion. While I did a lot of the planning prior to the wedding day, Brooke allowed me to do as much or little as I wished throughout. I think the part that really comes across is that Brooke’s many years of experience give her initiative to not wait for direction on what she should do, she intuitively knows. It can’t be put into words, but take my word from a person who wasn’t sure if a wedding coordinator was simply a luxury that isn’t needed. I now am convinced it would never have been the same without. For me, I now see Brooke as a necessity. It’s funny how we focus on florist,band and location because truly the wedding planner is the key.

Brooke made our life sooo easy and helped in extremely stressful, unplanned situations and always had her composure. We were more than extatic about her and everyone saw the love she had for me, the bride, on the biggest day of my life. SHE IS AMAZING and so are all of the other people that helped out. JP and Aaron were awesome too!

When my husband and I were first planning our wedding, he wasn't too sure about a wedding planner. The day after the wedding, my huband made the comment that having Brooke as our wedding planner was the best decision we made. With Brooke's contacts we literally saved thousands of dollars. Our wedding day was so stress free. We didn't have to worry about a thing. If we had to do this all over again, our first phone call would be to Brooke.

Brooke and her "Bee for the Day" team created a memory for my husband and me along with our family that will never be forgotten. I decided to make most of the decisions for our wedding day before I brought Brooke on board. I knew what I wanted everything to look like for our wedding day but I quickly realized I was in over my head as the date grew closer. There was no way to coordinate vendors, venues, people, and timelines! Certainly I could have, but it would have come as a huge cost to our enjoyment of our day...this is when Brooke came in to save the day! It was as if she had been there all along helping make decisions with us and when we had forgotten something (which we absolutely did) Brooke immediately picked up the loose ends! She has some of the most creative ideas and if you just trust her she will deliver ten-fold!!! Two weeks before our wedding (11-14-09) Brooke and her team entered our "wedding team" seamlessly...She knew all of our vendors on a first name basis but also knew who to recommend when we needed assistance. She has created wonderful relationships with everyone in the industry which creates a trusting relationship between Brooke and her brides...there was no one else that I would have trusted with our special day. She is efficient, professional, and hard working...but even more important...she is a loving, caring person who takes her business to heart. She will treat your wedding with the same care she would treat her own. It is all about her "brides!" We love you Brooke and are forever grateful for what you delivered for us...it was an evening all about love, family, and friends thanks to all of your hard work! My one mistake was not bringing Brooke on board much sooner... :)

Brooke is absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with!! She thinks of things that you never did for your wedding day, she takes care of things so you don't have to stress on your wedding day and she makes your day run seamlessly! I can't imagine planning a wedding without her help!

Bee for the Day was hands down the BEST money spent for the wedding! Brooke met our needs and let it be Abby's day, not hers! She met with us as little or as much as we needed. Her service the day of the wedding was fabulous. Mother of the Bride and the Bride were SO relaxed and SO able to enjoy the day.

My husband and I, but most especially my mother, are truly thankful for the services of Bee for the Day! Two things that stand out from my wedding are: 1. People are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! and 2. On the day of the wedding a lot of people commented on how calm and relaxed my mother and I were, and we actually were. Hiring Bee for the Day was the best thing I did! It was a pleasure working with Brooke and her assistant, Rachel. They both were very knowledgeable, and professional. I wish I would have found out about them earlier - I would have liked to work with them throughout the whole process. I contacted them on short notice, approx 2-3 months prior and Brooke was so flexible and helpful a down right lifesaver! I would recommend this company to anyone in fact I would say they are a MUST if you plan on an outdoor event where there is little guidance from Officiant etc. Thanks again Brooke and Rachel, you MADE our day!

Brooke is fantastic! If you do not have a wedding planner - get one (specifically Brooke)! It is the best use of your wedding budget! She will keep you on budget, sane, and looking fabulous the day of your wedding. Trust me, even if you are a fantastic event planner, you will still need someone there the day of making sure everything is running smoothly. Book Brooke NOW!

Brooke Lauber-Cobb and the Bee for the Day staff are wonderful. They are easy and fun to work with, and they made my wedding day completely smooth and hassle free. (NO easy task, considering it rained pretty much all day, and we had to find a last minute venue for pre-wedding pictures. Thankfully, the sun came out one hour before the wedding, everything dried up, and we were able to go ahead with the outdoor reception we had planned. To be honest, I am pretty sure that they, and my mom, were responsible for the weather clearing up -- it is not out of the realm of possibility!) They think of everything -- from the little details that would never occur to you to the fun creative things that make your wedding unique and personal -- and they are open to crazy ideas that you may have about the day, which is rare! They spend all the necessary time with you before the wedding, making sure it is exactly the way you envision it, and they are on hand all day long on the actual day to ensure that everything is running the way it should, and anticipating all the inevitable nuisances that will crop up. I had a crazy bridesmaid who kind of had her own agenda for my wedding day, and wanted to talk about it all the time. The Bee for the Day ladies took her under their wings, kept her out of my hair, and made her feel as though her needs were being attended to -- all completely seamlessly. She didn't even know that she was an issue that needed to be dealt with! She was completely happy the whole day -- which would not have been the case if they were not there! My wedding day was exactly what it should be -- the very best day of my life thanks to my husband, my mother, and Bee for the Day.

Brooke has so much knowledge about the wedding industry in Toledo and provided great tips and advice that made the wedding perfect. While planning my wedding I was also finishing my third year of law school, so I was very busy and Brooke worked around my schedule, according to my needs. Any time I felt stressed out during the process, all I had to do was call Brooke and rest assured that everything would be taken care of. Overall, Brooke was wonderful.
