Blue Plate Catering

I used Blue Plate Catering for a 40th Birthday party that I held for my sister in law. I must say that both the food & the service was perfect!!! I wanted simple appetizers & a nice sit down meal for a reasonable price. That is exactly what I got! Jackie & her staff were very patient & accomodating to my every need. The guests loved the Chicken Marsala that we had as well as the variety of appetizers, especially the stuffed mushroom!!! I would definately recommend Blue Plate Catering for any type of event.

I recently had my engagement party on 11/5/2011, it was a bit of a last minute request made by some out of town relatives. I did not want to cook nor did I want my Mom to cook so I shopped around for a caterer. I was looking for someone with a wide variety of dishes to accommodate some vegetarians, picky eaters (children), and those with allergies in my family. A co-worker of mine recommended Blue Plate Catering and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I was able to meet with Jackie, the owner, and she helped me pick out a personalized buffet to meet my needs. She was friendly, responsive and she knew her foods! My favorite dishes were the Polish soup and the California medley. I was so impressed by how smooth everything went and by how much my family commented on how good the food was that I have booked Blue Plate for my wedding too. I'm very excited and looking forward to it.

I was extremely pleased with Blue Plate Catering for my small and intimate wedding this past May! The process of finding just the right vendors for my wedding was a lot easier than I had expected. I had recently went to a wedding shower for a friend who used Blue Plate Catering. So, I took one of their business cards, checked out the menu and made a phone call and spoke with the owner, Jackie. She was very informative and pointed me in the direction of just the right food choices for my event. I had tasted both her chicken marsala and a seafood dip appetizer, which was amazing and I knew I too had to have that for my event. She suggested the herb roasted potatoes to go along with the chicken marsala, it was perfect:) Her other suggestions to make all the foods flow just right , were right on!!! So, needless to say WE had a beautiful day, with all of our family and friends and a great home cooked meal, which is what both of our families would prefer, instead of your everyday run of the mill reception kind of food. I give Jackie and her crew (who were so professional and accommodating) 5 stars and would recommend her to everyone I know for a fabulous home cooked meal anyday!!! P.S.
