A Bride's Design

I had a great experience I must say :) I found my dress there and it was actually a sample :) The store is SO cute! I had been to her old store maybe 4 years ago when my stepmom was getting married and the old store doesn't even compare! SO cute! SO romantic :) Loved it. But I did have Laura helping me when I was there, I thought is was so nice and gave me honest opinions and advice. Good selection and veryyy good prices! Thank you for making me feel beautiful and elegant :) Thank you A Bride's Design! :)

I cannot say enough good things about A Bride's Design! I am the Mother of the Groom. My daughter in law got the most beautiful gown. While she was at her fitting I saw the most wonderful gown on the rack. I tried it on, and with a few minor, and so reasonable alterations, it fit like a glove! I have been telling everyone about this wonderful shop! If you want to be treated as a person preparing for the most wonderful day of your life, this is THE place to go!!!! Christine

The service was great! My wedding dress originally came with a bow and long ties on the front. Laura suggested removing the long ties, which made the dress perfect. Thank you.

A Bride's Design ordered in the most beautiful dress for me, then they went through several fittings to make sure it was just perfect! The look on my fiancés face when he saw me solidified that everything A Bride's Design did was perfectly amazing. K

I could not be happier with my experience at A Bride's Design. Laura & I designed my dress and It was perfect. The customer service was great as well as the quality of the dress. The fabric and lace were top quality. You would not believe how many compliments I received on my dress. It fit me prefectly and had couture look at a fraction of the price. Any bride would be lucky to work with such a talented, kind person. I recommend Laura to all the girls I know who are getting married.

Laura was amazing. She made my dress and we also got my mom's dress there too. I felt like I was the ONLY customer most of the time. She let us come in several times to show off the dress and then when I didn't like something, she changed it right away. I would only recommend this wonderful place for brides that want a ONE of a KIND dress for their day. She was perfect!!!!!!!!! I can not say enough about Laura... she made you feel special. she has made a dress for my cousin that they designed together, along with a prom dress, and my aunt's Mother of the bride dress too. It's FIRST CLASS all the way!!!

Although I did not purchase my dress at A Bride's Design, they handled the alterations. One of my good friends also purchased her dress elsewhere, but brought it to Carolynn for alterations (as well as several other dresses). She was very kind, reasonable, and detailed in her work. She hemmed my dress, added a bustle, and brought in the bust a little. Afterwards, she even gave me a box to ship my dress in, as well as provided me with helpful details once my dress arrived at its destination. It is such a beautiful, although small, boutique. I almost wish I would have found it first, and gotten my dress there! I purchased a lovely sash broach for my Maid of Honor (and may go back to get one for myself), as well as my hair pins there. The hair pins were so beautiful, I think they got more attention than my dress! I appreciated that Carolynn never once tried to be pushy or sell me anything. She suggested Foot Petals to put in my shoes, and I am so glad that I took her advice! I wore my shoes ALL DAY LONG and they didn't hurt the next day! I would recommend this boutique to any good friend, as they were so helpful, calm, and precise (not a detail was overlooked). Carolynn even met with me on her day off (the morning I was sending my dress out) to reinforce a button on my bustle, and was so nice the whole time.

Laura was very nice, I brought my bridesmaid dress to get altered, and within 3 days it was ready! Great turnover!

Not "A Bride's Design," but "A Bride's Worst Nightmare!" THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I ordered my bridal gown from them and they were so "nicey-nice" UNTIL they had my money. I questioned my dress order at the very beginning of the order and when I paid the deposit. Laura reassured me that it was correct even though her book swatch looked different than the sample that I had tried on. When swatch sample after swatch sample (of my particular dress order) kept coming in not only the wrong color, but the completely wrong fabric, I got extremely nervous. I kept getting more stressed out and questioning that the correct dress was even ordered or being made. Laura just laughed it off and didn't do ANYTHING to try to remedy the situation or relieve my stress. She even joked about the situation stating that "the swatch lady is on vacation!" Needless to say, my dress came in just 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding IN THE WRONG COLOR! I ended up having to take the sample gown off the rack just to have a dress for my wedding (the decision that I made after they offered another bride's dress as a swap and I refused). Would you want YOUR dress traded out to another bride's "dress gone wrong?" They were extremely difficult and unsympathetic and resistant about discounting it. They PROMISED me that they would have it cleaned because it was dirty, have it altered in time and alter it to fit and to be as "good as new." TWO days before leaving for my wedding, I was stuck picking up a FILTHY sample dress that they didn't even alter to fit me, just to have ANY dress for my wedding. They left me hanging until the last possible moment and did not do what they promised. They completely ruined my wedding day and this kind of service SHOULD NOT be expected when you're ordering a $2200 couture wedding gown. After the fact, I contacted the designer in New York to try to get some resolution from this disaster. A Bride's Design COMPLETELY lied to them as well as me, blaming the designer for all of the wrong-doings and then lied to the designer and said that they did EVERYTHING to accommodate me. The designer in New York then, left the ball in my hands (which were tied). DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE LIARS! They do not care about customer service or doing THE RIGHT THING!
