Dora's Bridal & Formal

Dora's left a bad taste in my mouth. When I first went in to try on my dress, the sales rep was rude. I ended up falling in love with a dress from there for a decent price. I tried it on when it came in and it fit almost perfectly. I tried it on again a second time for my bridesmaids and the one noticed rips all over the dress. They reordered me another right away. The bridemaids dresses were a nightmare! We had an appointment and were pushed to the side for the most part. They told measured my girls and ALL of them were measured incorrectly. All of the dresses came back to big. They even made a huge deal about my sister not being able to fit in the dress at all. Her dress was too big when she got it. Another girl had to pay extra for the "plus" size and then had to have it altered because the dress was too big. Some of the dresses were frayed and hooks were broke. When I called about this, they were rude and said that my girls picked the sizes of the dresses and they can't do anything about that. I took the one girl in to show them and they argued with us saying that was her correct size. We got them altered somewhere else and the seamstress said her dress was two sizes too big for her. I have never been treated with the disrespect from a retailer like this.

Great price, great quality of dresses and very nice staff.

the staff was rude.the lady had an attitude when she realized i had my own altration person .she suggested we order more material from the designer to make the train longerand after $500 extra we got the wrong material and i still had to go to joann fabric to get more material.my daughter loves her dress and it was what she wanted but i would never go back again

I had a very enjoyable experience at Dora's overall. The staff is fantastic for the most part. I would certainly do business with them again and would recommend them to anyone. They are professional and on top of it. My only complaint is with the store manager who is a somewhat difficult person to deal with. I am not your typical bride and was pretty laid back through the whole process but I did not always like dealing with her. The rest of the staff makes up for her though. I had my alterations done her too and they were top notch and not unreasonable.

I simply could not have been happier with my experience at Dora's. I have bought three bridesmaid dresses there and my sister, sister-in-law, and cousin all got their wedding gowns there. So when I got engaged I didn't look anywhere else for my gown and bridesmaid dresses.The things I loved about Dora's include:- Great selection, yet not overwhelming -- very easy to look at the dresses (unlike a jam-packed place like David's)- Personal service (I love Joanna!)- Flexibility -- I live out of town and had to schedule fittings when I was in Cleveland and they accommodated me every time- Creative problem solving -- my matron of honor was expecting twins 2 months before my wedding and they worked out an alterations plan with her to allow her to be fitted at the last possible minute to give her enough time to lose the baby weight and still had the dress done on time (and it was beautiful)- Great value -- I feel like I got a beautiful dress for a great price

These ladies at Dora's were so fun and friendly to work with. My bridesmaids got their dresses from Dora's and they were awesome!!! They called as soon as the dresses came in and were so personable!

I was so happy that I had an experience with Dora's Bridal & Formal!!The boutique was specious and carry all kinds of gorgeous pieces. And I loved atmosphere in it - very relaxing and stuff is very helpful.

They were very flexible with scheduling fittings and I was able to just walk in on a whim and try on a bunch of dresses, however after I picked "the one" the quality of service went waaay down b/c they knew they had a sale. Suddenly they weren't very friendly anymore, just all business. They do have an absolutely lovely collection though. Also, when my bridesmaids placed their order the sales clerk said rudely "this has to be great for you, huh? Another expensive bridesmaids dress to just sit in the back of your closet."

This dress place was amazing. They have dresses that look exactly like a designer dress without the price. My gown was a new style that had just come out that year, and I only paid $600. The girls that worked there were so helpful, and it is a nice, quite little shop which was very refreshing to go to after dealing with the craziness of the big bridal stores.

I loved my dress- they fitted me several times and the dress was beautiful. I tried on tons of dresses and they were very helpful. The location and the mirrors were great- lighting was good. Great selection of dresses. I also puchased a tiara and accessories there.
