Holden Arboretum

I cannot say enough about Carri-an and her staff at the Holden Arboretum. We had our reception in the Butterfly Garden/Visitors Center, and she was terrific to work with from the beginning. Carri-an genuinely enjoys planning and assisting in weddings, and it shows in the quality of her work and service.Compared to other venues, the Holden is not only the most beautiful, but also a great value. I'd highly recommend it, and wish I still lived nearby to visit regularly!

Carri-an was extremely helpful in booking our time for our wedding photos. She met with my husband and I and was very professional, gave us the different gardens that were available and answered all of our questions. When the day of our wedding came and we went to take some photos, the flowers were in full bloom and everything was just as I pictured it (we met with her in October).

We had a great experience with Holden. Our wedding was held behind the visitor center, and the garden was beautiful. Reception inside was fantastic as well. The event coordinator was replaced while we were planning our wedding, and OH MY GOSH what a wonderful difference it made! The previous coordinator took way too long to respond to calls and emails. The current coordinator is awesome - she is on top of things and able to get back to the families quickly with any question at all. The venue was beautiful, the service was great - I'm very glad we chose Holden!

Carri-an and Dave are awesone! They made my day even more perfect than I ever could have imagined! they were excellent with set up and tear down and my day was amazing!

This venue is absolutely beautiful and magical. They were very easy to work with. If you join as a member for $40, you get 20 percent off of the venue rental so we saved $200. I thought the value was good for the cost. The staff was friendly and accommodating. At times, it may take the event coordinator a few days to return your call or e-mails as they have many events taking place. If you can be patient, I assure you she will get back to you and all details will be handled.

They were so helpful and so flexible. I had an outdoor reception under a tent, but it was raining so they provided umbrellas and golf carts to shuttle guests from their cars. I only had to book it so far in advance to make sure their benefit didn't fall on the same weekend as my wedding (it's always in July). Even with the rain it was beautiful site. It was the perfect backdrop for our photos!
