Mayfield Strings

Another great review deleted by Wedding Wire...Mayfield Strings performed perfectly. They were helpful the whole way with music input as well as learning a song for our ceremony. The main contact, Tara, was not able to attend, but those that were there played brilliantly and secured us many compliments for the ceremony and the following cocktail hour.I would not hesitate to recommend them to others for their quality, professionalism, talent, and value.

Mayfield Strings was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. We opted for a duo. Tara recommended pieces that would work well with only two instruments. Our Minister was very very late. During which time, our three year old niece was enamored with the strings. They even played her favorite Christmas tune upon request. Though I was not present during this time, her parents were thrilled they kept her amused. In the end she made it down the aisle as a flower girl because of them. Our guests were happy, I was happy. My only regret was not thanking them personally on the day of the event.

Tara and her muscians are wonderful. She is extremly professional and willing to help make your day sound just as you want it. She did a great job helping me with selections I was unsure of. There was a piece we wanted and Tara was able to find it and the group performed it at no addtional charge to us. We ran over our scheduled time and they stayed to till the very end. Their price quote was a little less than some other groups in the area, but be assured that their quality is top notch. We played phone tag frequently, therfore email served as the better contact method for us. She was promt in responding and was always willing to answer any questions/concerns. She even thought of a few things I didn't! Overall, I highly reccomend Tara and the Mayfield String Quartet!

Tara was so easy to work with and they learned a new piece in record time. My guests all raved about how wonderful they were. Very highly recommended.

We got the string quartet for our ceremony music. Tara was amazing to work with and provided us with a lot of guidance since we didn't really know what we wanted. When I asked if they could learn a new song for me, Tara went out of her way to try to find new sheet music and they did not charge us extra (I know that some companies will charge for the sheet music and for rehearsal time for a new song). Everything was great!

The Mayfield String Quartet was great. They are professional musicians who studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music. My husband and I had trouble choosing the songs we wanted for the ceremony and they were willing to help us decide. They were very flexible with our set up (ceremony in one garden, then move to another garden for the cocktail hour). The music was beautiful and they even had some fun with the music they played for the cocktail hour. I would highly recommend them.
