Personal Touch was AWESOME, They were very professional and best of all innovative Covesa took my dream wedding and made it into a reality. My husband and I are more than pleased with Personal Touch services . Covesa and her assistants made our day more than special it was absolutely amazing.

I am a bit of a control freak and was reluctant to turn over the planning to Covesa at first. But all I can say is WOW! I'm glad I did. My wedding was supposed to be about 75 people. It ended up about 150 and Covesa handled EVERYTHING. She even handled some of the family squabbles. She helped me make my invitations, she addresses them all, she send out a newsletter organizing details for the bridal party. Covesa also is patient with me. That took real talent at times. Covesa is worth at least double her fee. I would absolutely suggest that if you have a wedding, a birthday party, or any other event, you let Covesa get involved ASAP.

Covesa did a good job the day of the wedding. It was the time before the wedding in which I would not label as doing a “good job”. 1) Unorganized approach – There would be periods of time where I would not hear from her and I would just email her updates about what was going on in the planning process. I felt like she hired me and I was reporting to her with updates. I believe that some contact should have been made in the early stages at least once a month asking me about the planning process and updates to what is going on and what she could do to help. I felt like I was not getting any type of service so much that I even wrote an email on April 17th informing her that I would no longer require her service. In fact, I didn’t talk to her for such extended periods of time I would not even become aware of services she could offer me until after I had already done the task myself. For instance, printing off the invitations. By the time I talked to her again I had already created and printed off the invitations for the wedding and at that time she stated that she could have done it for me. Good follow up would have prevented me from not becoming aware that she could have done this for me.Also, she would ask for same info repeatedly again and again. This was tiresome because I really did not have the time to continue asking the same questions over and over. A little more organization would have made this non-existent. She also promised things and not deliver. When we first met with Covesa she stated that she would help with getting to the airport for our honeymoon and also help with the thank you cards. Covesa did not mention doing any of these things during the time before or after the wedding. It is almost like those things were mentioned in order to get us to agree to use her. 2) Inappropriate Vendors - There was also a meeting set up by Covesa to meet with a decorator. This decorator was unprofessional and aggressive informing me that I needed to pick another color for my wedding and basically saying what I had envisioned for my day with my money was not good enough. I believe when I presented my wishes to Covesa those wishes should have been carried out in accordance to what I wanted. All I wanted was an all white décor. I should not have been hassled to change because it would not be the easiest for them to do. I felt as if I was getting attacked and Covesa was not going to attempt to stop the progress of the meeting until I expressed my dislike for their approach. There was also a vendor who was a travel agent. The travel agent was a very nice lady but it was apparent that she was not good at finding the best rates or even putting the information in the computer to give you the correct price. Every time I touched base with this travel agent within a 48-hour time frame the price of the vacation would go up hundreds of dollars. The worst part was that I was not adding anything to the vacation. For some reason she kept misquoting me.3) Tried to push her vision – On the day of the wedding I got the majority of what I wanted but a lot of easy things I believe could have happened but did not. For example, I could tell from the beginning that Covesa did not like the ideas of balloons and when the day of the wedding occurred there were no balloons. I still don’t understand why there couldn’t be balloons at the wedding. All in all Covesa did an OK job but I would not recommend her to anybody else. I felt as if I was the one making sure what was promised was delivered and making sure nothing I wanted was mysteriously not carried out. A good planner understands the bride’s needs and wants and works to carry those out while delivering and stress free easy experience. I did not get that the majority of the time with Covesa. But again, the actual wedding events she was fantastic, it was the time leading up to the wedding in which I had issues with her services.

I can honestly say the Covesa are all the above described, +. She was truly a pleasure to work with. Anything we needed she went above and beyond. She always kept a smile in person, and over the phone. To get reassurance that everything would work out and be just the way I wanted, was very comforting. With the economy being the way that it is, she made a way out of no way for a lot of things to happen. It was a blessing to have come across an angel! I would definitely recommend her to anyone, you will be very pleased!!
